Another Crazy Week!

This was such a great week! Happy late 4th of July, I am glad everyone had fun at the pool and partying with my parents. We ate otter pops while we listened to the fireworks and I watched the testaments in Spanish- it was a great missionary-like holiday! This week went by super fast- I keep saying how time is crazy on the mission....but it really is! I can't handle it. Transfers are next week, and tomorrow we have a specialized Spanish training for all the Spanish missionaries- 19 of us, because we are getting 4 more!! they will come next week, and we are all very excited. We worked a lot with members this week- it was fun we had a young recent convert in the branch help us teach one of our investigators, and then we went on splits on Friday.  One of the prospective missionaries in the English ward taught with sister Belford, and I took Sister Norris with me (new relief society president in the branch- she served her mission in Peru) Had a really great/ anxious-ridden experience with that.  First of all I had never really been without someone who knows what was going on with our investigators- and it really taught me some great things! She is an amazing teacher so I learned a lot from her as well. we were able to find some new people and teach one of the recent converts and her son about Joseph Smith and the blessings of the priesthood in their home. We had some great training about how to implement the Book of Mormon more into our teaching, and we have really noticed a difference in our lessons.  It is one of the best feelings in the world- watching the spirit touch other peoples hearts, and hearing them ask questions about the Book of Mormon. I have also learned that things don't always go as you planned- but yesterday it worked out so well- we had planned to go to a completely different area- but a contact we met the day before led us to two people that we had met a while ago- and we didn't know where they lived.  We were able to meet and teach one of the girls we had met, and her dad- it was a great lesson!  We also had a great experience that night teaching with the assistants- and reading the Book of Mormon with a great Spanish family- and teaching an English woman about some questions she had after reading mormon.org.  The spirit was so there and we had a great experience!
Things are going great- I am learning a lot, the Lord is teaching me more, and Sister Belford and I have had great experiences which includes a lady flagging us down to tell us that my helmet fell of the bike rack about a mile back- that was super fun getting that in the middle of a busy road- and making blueberry pancakes and eggs at night on a weekly basis- oh yes and otter pops.
Love you all!
